    i ve been there. i went there when they still alowed visitors to go up to the top. it is such a wierd feeling walking up a spiral staircase that leans

    lol, it was built on soil that was as bad as sand and they tried to build it straight ,but when they saw that it leaned they continued building it in the other angle hoping that it would straighten out when finished. That’s why when you take a close look at it, it doesn’t just lean to one side you can actually see it straighten out towards the top because of multiple angles….pretty fascinating. Gaileo was on top of it when he tested the law of gravity.

    It took 175 years to make the leaning tower and they didn’t even do a good job… IT LEANS LOL
